Traditionally, SMSes between phones are limited to 250-260 characters, so use "Send to my Mobile/Pager" if you are sending email to your phone as an SMS. We shorten the message by:
- truncating the message at 1500 characters
- removing attachments
- replacing text like "before" with "b4" to further reduce the size of the message we are sending you.
